About my Blog

i really don't like to cook. no, really. but i like to bake, and i like healthy, and i like to play at cooking especially when the boys are involved and i like to try to give the best to my kids... you know, without conforming to the 'budak mesti makan nasik baru kenyang' dictum. UNFORTUNATELY, the boys are kinda picky with what they eat. so it's always a fun, continuous, play-adventure-experiment thing. and along the way, i'm so absolutely thrilled if my play helps other people and their culinary journey with their kids, too. here's to PLAYING AT COOKING!

Papayaya

You know, i am weaning my fourth child and i can't believe that i haven't once weaned any of my kids with papaya puree! Until now that is. I don't really know why, actually. It's perfect!

When you mash it up, or blend it, all its juices come splashing out so you don't even need to add water to loosen it. And it's soooo sweet.

I suppose i didn't try it cause it didn't sound posh. Kot. But if you haven't, try it. Do.

WHAT YOU NEED AND WHAT YOU NEED TO DO
•take an extra ripe papaya. I used one that was about to get overripe. In fact, it was a bit bruised in places.
•mash or blend for a finer texture
